Snow in Houston

On Wednesday, while I was at work, Mike called me (from Canada). "It's snowing." To which I replied, "Well, you are in Canada.". He laughed and told me that no, it was actually snowing in Houston. I drove home as big beautiful fluffy snowflakes were falling. The trees were coated. It reminded me of home. Oh, and the smell. There's nothing better than the smell in the air when snow is falling. It was like Christmas came early. When I got home, I discovered Emma had left me a little present on the car. A little snowman. Thanks Emma, I loved it! :)

You guys got the snow, we got the subzero temps and crazy ice storms with it! Ahhh...nothing happy about breathing THAT air! What a crazy storm!

We got snow too!! The kids called me as I was heading home from the choir trip. They were sooo excited! (I wasn't...it made a 5 hour drive turn into a 10 hour drive-on a bus with roughly 50 teenagers.)

How way cool. I have my air conditioner on and am packing the car to leave for Atlanta in the morning.......enjoy the flakes. It seems Kim is being dumped on. It took ten hours for them to make the trip home from SLC yesterday from Gypsy's choral concert. So glad they were safe..
